Jarry And The Penguins Shutout Blackhawks 5-0

The very same Blackhawks who had just sealed the Penguins' playoff fate in Chicago on Sunday also managed to break their own five-game losing streak in that prior encounter. Beyond the final score, Jarry continued his strong recent play, securing his second shutout in four games, as well as his 21st in the NHL, and Kevin Hayes punctuated the Penguins' offensive effort with a pair of goals. The Penguins head to New Jersey on Friday, and the Blackhawks will be going to Boston on Thursday to take on the Bruins. Hershey Bears vs. Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 11/01/23

   The Hershey Bears played against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, defeating them in overtime by the score 4-3 on Wednesday, November 1st.

   1st Period

   Scoreless period, not much happened. Though, Adam Ginning on the Phantoms came out acting like a little bratty brother! He is a good skater though.

   There was also an update on Jimmy Huntington - he sustained an upper-body injury during first period. 

 

   2nd Period

   Cooper Marody scored the first goal of the game

   Nicolas Aube-Kubel scores his first as a bear, tying the game 1-1

   Bogdan Trineyev scores, the bears in the lead 2-1 - the Phantoms scoring not long after, tying the game. 

   Mike Vecchione receives a penalty 

 

   3rd Period

   Adam Ginning receives a penalty

   Pierrick Dube scores his 4th of the season, getting the bears back in the lead by a 3-2 score!

   Jon-Randall Avon scores, tying the game 3-3


   Overtime

   Chase Priskie scores, winning the game for the Hershey Bears by a 4-3 score!
