Devils VS Flyers, 3-2. 12/19/23

 






   The NJ Devils played against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday, December 19th in Jersey. The game was full of ties, heading into overtime and the Flyers won with a 3-2 score.


Here's the Devils lineup against the Flyers:

   Michael McLeod strikes first, the Devils in the lead for the rest of first. The final score of first period being 1-0.


   Ryan Poehling scores the first goal of second period and the first goal for the Flyers, tying the game 1-1. Jesper Bratt scores soon after Poehling.. Ryan Poehling scores his second of the game, tying the game again. The final score of second period being 2-2.


   Skipping third period because there were no goals - the Devils and Flyers head into overtime, Owen Tippett and the Flyers win. The final score being 3-2.



"Tough loss for us," Simon Nemec said. "We had a couple good scoring chances. We have to win against these teams."

"It's a predictable game for us and when you play a team like that, it comes down to winning all your 50/50 battles and desperation around the net," Nate Bastian said. "We were lucky enough to get one tonight."

Anyway, here is my honest reaction to 2 of my favorite teams unfortunately losing last night.. (Devils and Bruins)

Hoping they win their next games though! They did play well last night!
