Two Wins Tucked Away: Mercer Powers Devils to Victory Ahead of Home Opener

Photo: Andrew MacLean The New Jersey Devils survived a chaotic, late-game flurry in Columbus to secure their second straight victory on Monday night, defeating the Blue Jackets 3-2 to cap off their opening road trip. Flyers Goaltender, Carter Hart, is relieved to have found answers to an illness he's had for a while

Carter Hart was able to find answers to a sickness he has said he's had for a while. Hart has dealt with illness-related absences through 29 games this NHL season.

"It has been going on for a while," Carter Hart said. "I used to never get sick and now I think I've been sick three times in the last month, so something is going on. It's good that we got to the bottom of it and figured it out. Now I can take the right steps to treat it and fix it and feel better going forward."

So, it's good news that Hart will be able to treat his illness now knowing what it is. Hoping he has a great recovery and gets better moving forward!
