   The Capitals beat the Ducks in Washington on Tuesday, January 16th. The Capitals won with a 2-0 score, this was a good win for them after their 2-1 loss against the Rangers on Sunday, January 14th.

   Ethan Bear scores the first goal of the game and his first of the season late into the first frame. Bear's goal was the only one in the period, with only 38 seconds left when he scored - 1-0.


   The second period was completely scoreless, 1-0.


   Tom Wilson strikes an empty-netter within the final minute of the final frame - this was his 12th goal of this season. The Capitals win with a 2-0 score!



"Every day you're just trying to build and build. The last game didn't really feel that great, today it felt like everything was a little bit more clear even before the goal. You just kind of take it day by day. Don't get too stressed and don't get ahead of yourself - just be patient and just work, it takes time." Ethan Bear spoke after the Capitals win against the Ducks about how the team played and how he's been playing recently.



- Ethan Bear scored with 38 seconds left in the first period - This marks the 10th time this season that the Capitals have scored in the final minute of a period.

- Darcy Kuemper had a 24-save shutout! This was his first shutout of the season and the 31st of this career.

"I thought we did a good job coming over the first five minutes of the game. They did a good job, kind of just being tight all over - so it wasn't much back and forth." Adam Henrique talked about the Ducks 2-0 loss against the Capitals.
