   The Dallas Stars defeated the Red Wings in Detroit at the Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday, January 23rd. Roope Hintz had a two-goal night and 4 straight goals in the second period - defeating Detroit with a 5-4 score.

   Dallas opens the scoring - Jamie Benn scores on the power play, getting his ninth goal of the season with 16:36 remaining in the first period. David Perron tied up the game, with one second left on a power play... Alex DeBrincat scored soon after Perron, making it 2-1.


   Mason Marchment ties the game back up just 22 seconds into the second period from the left face-off circle. Roope Hintz gave Dallas the lead with a 3-2 score, 15:25 remaining in the middle frame. Giving the Stars a two-goal lead, Esa Lindell scores his fourth goal of the season with 8:20 remaining... Hintz strikes his second of the night and his 22nd of the season.


   Dylan Larkins scored on the power play, making it a 5-3 score. With 3:14 remaining in the final frame, J.T. Compher strikes his 11th goal of the season. Dallas wins it, 5-4.

- Wyatt Johnston got three assists

- Roope Hintz recorded three points

- Thomas Harley had two assists

- Jake Oettinger made 30 saves for Dallas

- Five games since Jason Robertson, Roope Hintz, and Wyatt Johnston were put together on a line - they have combined 8 goals and 20 points

- Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Larkin both had a goal and assist

- Alex Lyon allowed five goals on 32 shots before being pulled at the end of the second period... James Reimer made six saves in the third period
