Edmonton Oilers 8-Game Win Streak, 2-1 Win Against The Blackhawks - 1/9/24

   The Oilers played against the Blackhawks in Chicago on Tuesday, January 9th. It wasn't too much of an eventful game, the Oilers won with a 2-1 score. However, this is the eighth game in a row that the Oilers have won!

   Jason Dickinson strikes first, scoring his fourteenth of the season and getting the Blackhawks in the lead. Leon Draisaitl nets one, getting his nineteenth of the season and tying up the game - 1-1 being the final score of the first period.


   Connor McDavid gets Edmonton in the lead early into the second period, also scoring his fifteenth of the season. The final score of the second period was 2-1.


   Zach Hyman scored the third goal for the Oilers - Chicago challenged it and it turned out to be no goal. The final score overall was 2-1.



"Not out best, but give them credit. They clocked things up, they played a solid game," Connor McDavid said, speaking about the Oilers win against the Blackhawks. "I thought we did just enough to get a win."
