Flames Defeat Coyotes 3-2, 1/16/24

   It was a close win for either the Coyotes or Flames - they went into overtime with a 2-2 tie and the Flames won! The Coyotes played against the Flames in Calgary on Tuesday, January 16th.

   The first period was completely scoreless, 0-0.


   Sean Durzi gets the Coyotes on the board first with his seventh of the season. Durzi's goal was the only one in the middle frame, the final score was 1-0.


   Logan Cooley strikes his fourth of the season and the Coyotes lead by two. Blake Coleman scores the first for the Flames, and Nazem Kadri scores very soon after Coleman and ties up the game 2-2. The Coyotes and Flames head to overtime.


   Yegor Sharangovich wins it for the Flames in overtime! The final score overall was 3-2.
