   The Islanders visited the Jets in Winnipeg on Tuesday, January 16th. The Jets beat New York with a 4-2 score!

   Gabriel Vilardi strikes the first goal of the game and the Jets lead! Anders Lee ties up the game with 4:07 remaining. The Islanders and Jets leave the first period all tied up, 1-1.


   Neal Pionk scores on the power play - Jets lead by one. Mason Appleton nets one and the Jets lead by two - the final score of the middle frame is 3-1.


   Anders Lee nets another - his second of the game and his 13th of the season! Kyle Connor gets one in for the Jets with his 18th of the season. The Jets win with a 4-2 score.



"It was a big win for us tonight. I also thought, that when you go on such a long win streak and then drop one game, you want to get back to your winning ways. That's obviously a really good hockey team, a really disciplined team - We found a way to win tonight and we're back on the right track." Mason Appleton talked about the Jets win and how they are getting back on the right track.

- The Jets allowed two goals against or fewer for the 13th straight game since December 20th - also extending one of the longest runs by an NHL team since 1929-30 (when forward passing was permitted in all three zones)
