   The Kings played in Detroit on Saturday, January 13th. The Red Wings defeated the Kings with a 5-3 score, this being the 8th game the Kings have lost in a row now.

   Dylan Larkin starts off the Red Wings with his fifteenth of the season. Quinton Byfield strikes the first one for the Kings, tying up the game 1-1. The first period ended with a tie.


   Dylan Larkin scores his second of the night, getting Detroit back in the lead! Robby Fabbri nets one, the third for the Red Wings. Patrick Kane scores his seventh of the season, making sure to keep that lead for Detroit! Andrew Copp nets one - the final score of the second period was 5-1.


   Pierre-Luc Dubois strikes the second goal for the Kings! Quinton Byfield scores his second of the night and his 12th of the season. 5-3 was the final overall score.



"They're one of the better teams in the league - they've been great on the road this year. So to come out and get off to that good of a start through two periods was absolutely ideal." Patrick Kane spoke postgame, talking about their win against the LA Kings.
