   The Boston Bruins defeated the Flyers in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, January 27th. This is the Bruins' second win in a row since they lost to the Carolina Hurricanes with a 3-2 score on January 24th.

   The Bruins strike first - David Pastrnak scored the first of the four goals by Boston in a 4:14 span... Pastrnak shot from the face-off circle from the right, giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead. Charlie McAvoy puts Boston in a 2-0 lead with a backdoor pass by Pavel Zacha. Tipping a shot in by Brandon Carlo, Danton Heinen nets one. Pastrnak gets his second of the game and his 33rd goal of the season, making it 4-0 for the Bruins.


   In the second period, James van Riemsdyk got the puck from David Pastrnak from behind the net. Tyson Foerster strikes the first goal for Philadelphia with his eighth goal of the season. The final score of the middle frame was 5-1.


   Tyson Foerster scored his second of the night and his ninth goal of the season. Scoring for the 6-2 final, Charlie Coyle strikes his 18th goal of the season.



Notes:

- David Pastrnak had two goals and an assist... Pastrnak has 72 points (33 goals, 39 assists)

- Charlie Coyle extended his point streak to eight games (4 goals, 12 assists)

- Trent Frederic's assist on Coyle's goal gave him points in five straight games (1 goal, 5 assists)

- Linus Ullmark made 35 saves for Boston

- Tyson Foerster had two goals for the Flyers

- Samuel Ersson made 10 saves before being replaced by Cal Peterson who made 12 saves... both on 14 shots.
