Vancouver Canucks Three-Game Win Streak On Road Trip! 1/6-1/9 2024

   The Canucks have been on a road trip, first beating the New Jersey Devils with a 6-4 score. They then defeated the New York Rangers 6-3, and now the New York Islanders on Tuesday, January 9th. Vancouver beat the Islanders with a 5-2 score.

   Filip Hronek scores late in the first period, getting the Canucks in the lead by one. Quinn Hughes scored with 1:18 remaining in the first period. The final score was 2-0.


   Elias Pettersson extends the Canucks lead to 3-0. Brock Nelson scored the first goal for the Islanders of the night, this being his eighteenth of the season. Tyler Myers answers back, making sure to keep Vancouver in the lead. The final score of the second period was 4-1.


   Brock Nelson nets another, this being his nineteenth of the season. Dakota Joshua scores an empty-netter with 1:25 left in the game! Three straight wins for the Canucks.



"Especially back-to-back against two really good teams and Jersey's playing well - We just want to keep climbing up the mountain," Quinn Hughes said, talking about the Canucks three-game win streak during their road trip so far. "Happy with how this road trip's been, but we got to finish strong last four."
