Anders Lee put the Islanders on the board 3-1 late into the third frame. He scored from the top of the crease when Ilya Sorokin was pulled for an extra attacker. Cutting it 3-2 on the power play, Brock Nelson scored his 25th of the season from the right face-off circle, Sorokin still out for an extra attacker.
