Woll’s Shutout Leads Leafs Past Devils in Toronto

  Photo: Andrew MacLean On Tuesday in Toronto, the Maple Leafs hosted the Devils, handing New Jersey their fourth straight loss when the Leafs and Joseph Woll shutout the Devils 4-0. Woll put on an incredible performance, making a total of 33 saves for Toronto. Bobby McMann, Nicolas Roy, Calle Jarnkrok, and Matthew Knies each found the back of the net for the Leafs, while Jacob Markstrom made 26 saves in a difficult losing effort. It was a good win for the Leafs after they lost to the Detroit Red Wings in overtime on Sunday. The Devils head to Columbus on Wednesday to take on the Blue Jackets in hopes of snapping this four-game skid. New Jersey Devils Sign Isaac Poulter to an Entry-Level Deal, 2/15/24

 





   The Devils announced just today that they have signed 22-year-old goaltender, Isaac Poulter, to a two-year entry level deal with an average value of $812,500 (annual). The contract would be starting this 2023-24 season, also including 2024-25. Poulter will remain with the Utica Comets. 

   Isaac Poulter joined the organization in June of 2022, signing a two-way AHL deal and splitting time in 2022-23 between New Jersey's ECHL affiliate in Adirondack and Utica... Poulter is one of the nine AHL goalies who earned three or more shutouts this season.
