The Arrival of Le Magnifique: The Savior of a City The hype around Mario Lemieux started almost before he even got here. In the mid-1980s, the Pittsburgh Penguins were a punchline—a franchise teetering on the brink of irrelevance. Their arena was a ghost town, their roster a collection of misfits. Then, on a fateful day in 1984, the draft lotte...

Nico Hischier on the Devils' 4-2 win in Nashville and how they've been playing recently even if they have lost games: "I think it was a good game by us again. Obviously, made some great saves and we didn't get frustrated, stuck with it, and in the end, I think we earned that win," - "I think we're building a little bit more consistency, even if we haven't won every game yet. Even in those games we've lost, I think you saw a consistent game from us and I think that's what we're trying to look for moving forward here."

Timo Meier on the Devils' 4-2 win: "Their goalie played well and they blocked a lot of shots as well. We kind of just stuck with it, which was important because I thought we created a lot of play for most of the time. We were playing well defensively and we knew we had to be patient and win some battles in front of the net, get there and you're going to get a greasy one like we did. So obviously, a real nice effort to get those two points."
