PWHL Announces Team Names

On Monday, September 9th, the PWHL re-introduced their inaugural six with their new team names.

The league only started last season, having an extremely successful debut and not having official team logos or names. All six teams were known as - PWHL Boston, PWHL Minnesota, PWHL Montreal, PWHL New York, PWHL Ottawa, and PWHL Toronto.

Everyone had been waiting for the names and logos of the teams, excited for the second season of the pro women's league and a new chapter. They also released brand-new team merchandise for the announcement, so now you can show off your team pride!

PWHL Team Names:

Boston Fleet

Minnesota Frost

Victoire de Montreal

New York Sirens

Ottawa Charge

Toronto Sceptres

My favorite teams in the PWHL are the Boston Fleet, the New York Sirens, and the Toronto Sceptres! However, I love all six of the unique names for the teams and the logos are totally cool. Personally, my favorite logo might be Boston's or New York's... both are super neat.

I can't wait for this new chapter of the PWHL and I'm pretty excited to get some of my favorite teams' merch! Have you seen those heavy-weight shirts?!
