   The Seattle Kraken announced on Tuesday, October 8th ahead of their opening game that the second captain in franchise history is forward Jordan Eberle. Mark Giordano had been the first captain in Kraken history, who wore the 'C' on his sweater for 55 games in the 2021-22 season. This role was left vacant since March 22nd, 2022 after Giordano was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. There are now officially 32 captains in the NHL... so, here's an updated list of all the team captains heading into the 2024-25 season.
