Breaking a two-game losing streak on Sunday, November 10th - The Blackhawks took on the Minnesota Wild at United Center, defeating them in overtime to snap a losing streak in overtime 2-1. Philipp Kurashev scored the game-winning goal, and Jason Dickinson scored the first Chicago goal. The Wild only scored one goal, which had been scored by Matt Boldy, who picked up his ninth goal of the season. The Blackhawks head out on the road for two games - one in Seattle on Thursday. and the other in Vancouver on Saturday before playing two games at home again.

Jason Dickinson put the Blackhawks in front 1-0 late in the first period with 3:16 remaining on the clock for his second goal of the season. After the Wild attempted to get the puck out of their zone, only getting into the neutral zone, Alex Vlasic sent it back up into Minnesota's zone... Dickinson got to the puck along the right-wing boards in the offensive zone, stole it, skated into the slot, and fired a wrist shot past Filip Gustavsson.
After a scoreless middle frame, the score being 1-0, Matt Boldy tied it 1-1 to score the one and only goal for the Wild late in the third period at 4:31. Making sure to keep the puck from leaving Chicago's zone, passing back and forth, Kirill Kaprizov passed it to Boldy, who scored in front.
With 3:10 on the clock in overtime, Philipp Kurashev struck the game-winner for the Blackhawks when he scored from the top of the left circle off a feed from Seth Jones, who intercepted a pass before sending the puck to Kurashev.
Philipp Kurashev on the OT victory, Petr Mrazek, playing a full 60, Boldy's game-tying goal, and his game-winning goal: "Obviously, we didn't want to give up that late goal, but we found a way to win - that's the big part... It was unbelievable. He's the reason why we were still in the game and we got to be better than that for him, but I'm glad we got the win," - "It's been tough for us all year to play a full 60 minutes, so we got to find a way to. Even if the game is tight, stay in it, and don't let teams back in it. We got away with it today, but we got to learn from it - You got to be patient in those moments. You can't let it get to, too much. You got to go out there, take the game right back, and not give them too much momentum. We did that and I'm glad we did... Just a good drive by Jonesy. I was able to shoot through the guys and it went in. So, it was good."
Notes:
- Late in the second period, Petr Mrazek made a great save using Taylor Hall's stick. He also made two other great saves on Marco Rossi with just over six minutes gone in the third.
- Petr Mrazek made a total of 32 saves for Chicago.
- Filip Gustavsson made a total of 20 saves for Minnesota.
- The Minnesota Wild won up to 12 games straight against the Blackhawks dating back to February 4th, 2020.
- Kirill Kaprizov has become the third player in Minnesota Wild history with a nine-game road point streak... He joins both Joel Eriksson Ek (10 games: December 31st, 2022 to February 8th, 2023) and Eric Staal (10 games: December 4th, 2016 to January 14th, 2017).
